French 101: speak like a local… goal!

I bumped into this video of these two young Americans who I assume are just going to school in France. They could’ve fooled me coz I thought they grew up there based on  how they were speaking in French. But of course, I am not French so I wouldn’t know if they would’ve fooled a French person.

Hope you learned as much as I did.

I’m so excited!

    HaHa! They are great!!
It’s so true though…living in the country definitely makes a difference when learning a language.
While I was loving in Spain, I got to grips with the language and the slang from hearing it and (trying) to speak it everyday!

I would like to live in Paris for a month sometime in the near future. As much as I want to be optimistic, I don’t think I’ll get the hang of speaking French. I’m at a point right now where I feel like I have to make a decision if it’s worth going on with learning French or is it just a waste of time. Coz I really am not getting it. It’s too complicated. I’m better off learning Spanich and living in Spain. 😦

Why don;t you just go for it? Go to France…just do it 🙂
I speak fluent Spanish, and before learning that I was actually more into my French. Although I don;t speak French now, I can still read a fair bit of it and I didn’t do too badly on my little trip in Paris. Keep persevering!! 😀
